Aims

Church Development & Aid (CDA) seeks to provide local churches in Russia & the CIS with resources that will help them lay sound biblical foundations for spiritual growth, outreach, and discipleship programs.

We do this in the following ways:

  • with special travel allowances to attend seminars, evangelistic trips, etc.
  • by supporting special projects, such as Christian camps, youth outreach programs, etc.
  • by providing fellowship, and a forum for discussion of issues that concern them in
    their ministry
  • by directing them to existing resources that can help them minister more effectively
  • by providing helpful Christian material.

We visit regularly these countries to help us develop and maintain relationships with pastors, and churches, and assess needs, and we create material to meet specific needs of pastors and Christian workers. Care is taken to provide high quality Russian translations and affordable publications. As well:

  • We circulate regular news items and prayer needs through our Focus & e-mail updates
  • we maintain regular contact with these churches to ensure that our information is up-to-date
  • we publicise financial needs as they arise
  • we promote this work whenever the opportunity arises.
