The Rimsky Korsakov
Members of an international evangelistic team enjoy a break on their journey up the Ob-Irtysh River system. This river system is the fourth longest river in the world―and the most polluted. This 'highway to the Artic circle is 5,737 kms long, and freezes to a depth of at least 1.2 metres in winter when it is used as a road and tarmac. This 3 week round trip aimed to follow up and increase the contacts made the previous year. It was only the second evangelistic trip up the Ob since the fall of the iron curtain.
